Rogue American Amber Ale

I have been a big fan of Rogue for a while, but unfortunately their stuff is just a little tough to find down her in Central VA...Fortunately, Ned's Beer & Wine has finally made them a bit easier to come by.

Rogue American Amber Ale is a hazy, copper-colored brew with a two-finger off-white head of small bubbles. The beer smells of floral hops, but the real flavor in the first sip comes from its rich malt base. The malt character of this brew is great, with some earthy flavors and bready texture.

The sweetness of this beer is candy-like, but then the finish is all grassy hops that are bitter enough (53 IBUs) to take the enamel off of your teeth! Very good brew...
